Upload, paste, or link your source

Choose a file, paste text, or save a source URL as the first step toward a shareable browser link.

Drop a file to start

Drag any file here, choose one from your device, or paste content from the clipboard.

Current plan: 1 uploads/day · up to 1.0 MB per file

Ready for everyday sharing

Files, notes, and source links can all become cleaner URLs for handoff and collaboration.

From content to link in three steps

Whether you start with a file, text, or source URL, UploadToLink produces one share page. Set security options as needed, then hand off the link by copy or QR code.

  1. 01

    Choose file, text, or link

Drop files, paste from the clipboard, edit Markdown/JSON/code in the text tab, or save a source URL. Uploads show progress with cancel and retry; the text editor includes templates, drafts, and formatting tools.

  2. 02

    Configure security and copy

After the link is created, set a password, expiry, and download cap; Pro and Plus support burn-after-read. Copy full details (including password and expiry notes), link only, or show a QR code for quick access.

  3. 03

    Recipients preview or download

They open the share page in a browser: images, PDFs, text, and JSON preview inline; other formats download safely. Password and access rules apply before content is shown.

Where the link fits

  • Forms and profiles

When a page asks for an image link, file URL, or proof document, paste the generated address instead of juggling attachments.

  • Support tickets

Turn screenshots, logs, PDFs, or recordings into one ticket link—clearer than multiple attachments and free of size limits.

  • Code and config snippets

Use the text tab for JSON, YAML, SQL, or logs. Recipients preview on the share page instead of scrolling through pasted code blocks.

  • Controlled sharing for sensitive files

Add a password, expiry, download limit, or burn-after-read for contracts, credentials, or one-time handoffs.

Key Features

Files, text, and links—one share address

Three tabs cover everyday starting points: drop or paste files, edit text and code in the built-in editor, or save a source URL. Uploads show progress with cancel and retry; success gives you an immediate share page.

File drop and clipboard paste

Images, PDFs, videos, documents, and archives are supported. Guests: up to 1 MB per file. Free signed-in: up to 3 MB. Pro and Plus plans offer higher limits—see the pricing page.

20+ text formats and editor tools

Markdown, JSON, YAML, code, and logs with templates, draft restore, format/minify/validate, fullscreen editing, and find-replace.

Batch upload and collections

After sign-in, select multiple files to create a collection and manage it in the dashboard. Free tier: up to 10 files per batch and 10 collections; Pro/Plus offer higher limits. Recipients can download as ZIP (free: up to 10 files).

Different limits for guests and members

Guests: 1 upload/day, 8-hour links, fixed 10 downloads per link. Free signed-in: 10 uploads/day, fixed 24-hour retention, collections supported. Pro and Plus add higher quotas, 10 MB text shares, custom or permanent expiry, and dashboard management.

Security and access controls when you need them

After upload, configure password protection, expiry, and download limits in the same panel; Pro and Plus can also enable burn-after-read. Unsaved security settings apply automatically before copy or open; sensitive options require confirmation.

Password and expiry

Generate a random password and choose expiry from 1 hour to never. Copy-all includes password and validity notes for one-shot handoff.

Download limits and burn-after-read

Signed-in users can cap total downloads; Pro and Plus can enable burn-after-read for contracts and one-time deliveries. Guests are fixed at 10 downloads per link with no way to disable it.

Track access when signed in

See access counts on the success panel and jump to Manage My Shares for all your links.

Preview, QR codes, and session history

The share page previews what the browser can render and safely downloads the rest. The success panel adds QR codes, multiple copy modes, and guest session history for quick revisit.

In-browser preview

Images, PDFs, text, and JSON open on the share page; the share page also includes a QR code.

Multiple copy and open options

Copy full details, link only, or open in a new tab to verify before sending.

Global edge delivery

Content is served through Cloudflare so the same link opens quickly across regions and devices.

Where UploadToLink helps

From quick file handoff to controlled sharing of sensitive assets and pasted code snippets—when you need a link someone can open now, not a full storage setup.

  • Support screenshots and logs

Upload screenshots, recordings, or exported logs and paste copy-all details into a ticket—easier to track than multiple attachments and free of chat size limits.

  • Forms that require a URL

When a profile, application, or listing only accepts a link, upload proof and paste the generated URL without routing files through another platform.

  • Design and content review

Send image, video, or PDF links to clients; add a QR code for mobile review. Use a password or expiry when the asset should stay private.

  • Code snippets and config files

Share JSON, YAML, SQL, or logs from the text tab with syntax-friendly preview and formatting—ideal for debug output, API samples, and deploy configs.

  • Controlled delivery of sensitive files

Set a password, download cap, or burn-after-read on contracts, credentials, or installers, with expiry from 1 hour to 90 days.

  • Multi-file collection delivery

Upload multiple drafts, documents, or installers at once and share one collection link. Recipients preview or download individually, or grab a ZIP (subject to your plan's file count limit).

  • Cross-device and in-session revisit

Upload on one device and open the link on another. Guests can also find recent links in session history on the same browser.

Ways to use your generated links

Generating a link is step one. Combine copy modes, QR codes, and security settings to match how each recipient will open the content.

Copy all details in one shot

When you need to send the link, password, and expiry together, copy-all beats pasting a bare URL—especially in tickets and email handoffs.

Use QR codes for mobile access

In person or when clients review on phone, show the QR on the success panel or share page instead of asking them to type a long URL.

Format text and code before sharing

Clean up logs, JSON, or Markdown first, then share. Recipients preview on the share page so discussions stay on the right version.

Deliver many files as one collection

Use batch upload to build a collection and share a single link. Free tier ZIP downloads support up to 10 files; Pro and Plus are unlimited.

Add access control for sensitive assets

Contracts, credentials, or one-time files can use a password, download limit, burn-after-read, and a short expiry to reduce long-term link exposure.

What users use it for

From support tickets to content review and controlled sharing—these examples show how multi-tab upload and security settings fit real workflows.

  • 4.9

When a customer report needs screenshots and a PDF, I copy-all into the ticket—password and expiry notes included. Much easier to follow than three attachments.

  • 5.0

For draft reviews I send the video link in chat plus a QR code for mobile. Private assets get a password and 7-day expiry—that alone saves a lot of back-and-forth.

We share API JSON and config snippets constantly. The text tab with format tools means teammates preview in the browser instead of bouncing files around.
